File a Complaint

Pursuant to Business and Professions Code section 3758.5, if a licensee has knowledge that another person may be in violation of, or has violated, any of the statutes or regulations administered by the RCB, the licensee shall report this information to the RCB in writing and shall cooperate with the RCB in furnishing information or assistance as required. Additionally, California Code of Regulations section 1399.378 requires the information to be disclosed to the RCB within 10 calendar days from the date the person knows or should have reasonably known of the violation.

There are two ways to file a complaint with the RCB:

Once the RCB receives and opens the complaint, the complainant will receive a letter acknowledging receipt of the complaint within ten business days. Please refer to the RCB's Enforcement Process Overview for additional information.
