INITIAL LICENSING FEE
$48 - $136
Initial licenses are issued for a period of 6-17 months, depending upon the issuing month and an applicant’s birth month. The initial licensing fee ranges from $48 to $136. Once you have successfully passed your licensing examination, or if you are applying based on an existing NBRC credential, you will be notified by the RCB of the required fee for your initial license.

*Out-of-state applicants who are submitting fingerprint cards (in lieu of having their fingerprints processed electronically via the State of California Live Scan system) are required to submit a processing fee of $51 in addition to application fees.
